RESOLUTION NO. 85- 55
RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING
TO DECLARE CERTAIN COUNTY OWNED
PROPERTY SURPLUS.
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Parks Department has a 1969
Chevrolet 29-passenger bus which they wish to declare surplus;
and
WHEREAS, this bus was acquired through the Federal Surplus
Equipment Program which has a seven -year limitation on disposal;
and
WHEREAS, this limitation will expire in November of 1985;
and
WHEREAS, the Parks Department would request that a minimum
bid of $500.00 be set on this bus;
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of Whatcom
County, Washington, that a public hearing on the matter of
declaring certain County owned property surplus be set on the
21st day of November, 1985, at 7:33) p.m., or as soon thereafter
as it is possible, in the Whatcor° County Council Chambers,
Second Floor, Whatcom County Courthouse, Bellingham, Washington,
for the purpose of admitting testimony for and against the
selling of said property.
