RESOLUTION NO. 85 -54
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE ABANDONMENT
AND VACATION OF A PORTION OF HUNTLEY ROAD,
COUNTY ROAD NO. 699, IN SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 38
NORTH, RANGE 3 EAST, W.M.
WHEREAS, a certain portion of Huntley Road, (County Road No. 699) has
been constructed outside of the dedicated right -of -way, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the County Engineer that the public
is served and traffic accommodated over the maintained right -of -way of County
Road 699, situated just north of the above mentioned non -used portion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT it is the intent of this Council to
vacate and abandon the full width of the County Road 699, not now being used, `
situated in Section 3, Township 38 North, Range 3 East W.M. and more par-
ticularly described as follows:

That portion of County Road 699 lying easterly of the following
described line: Commencing at a point 107.56 feet north along
the Section line from the southwest corner of the northeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section, Township and
Range, thence south 64 047'14" west 3UO.UU feet, more or less, to
the south line of right -of -way of County Road 699 and terminus
at that point.
ALSO, BE IT RESOLVED that the 6U feet of right -of -way shall be divided
along the south line of said northeast quarter of Northeast quarter and the 40
feet north and 2U feet south of said line shall be returned to the adjoining
properties in accordance with the original grants.
ALSO, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Engineer shall make a report of
this portion of road and shall file the same with this Council and proceedings
for the vacation of this portion of road shall be carried on in the manner pro-
vided in RCW 36.87.U1U to and including RCW 36.87.U8U.
