R5 -42 RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR DECLARING CERTAIN COUNTY -OWNED EQUIPMENT SURPLUS PROPERTY PURSUANT TO RCW CHAPTER 36.34 8 WHEREAS, the following described property listed in attachment "A" hereby incorporated by reference is now and has been the property of Whatcom County, 9 and 10 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that it is for the best interest of the County and the people thereof to sell such equipment because 11 of its outmoded value and surplus nature; 12 IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED'by the County Council of Whatcom County, Washington, that a public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms 13 be held on the 5th day of September 1985 at 7:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers, second floor, Whatcom County Courthouse, Bellingham, Washington, for the purposes of admitting 14 testimony for and against the propriety of selling such equipment. 15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive is hereby authorized to remove proper 16 from this list up to the day of the sale, if she deems the property necessary for public use. 17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Clerk of the County Council is directed to give 18 notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law. 19 PASSED this 22nd day of August ,1985 20 WHATCOM COUNTY COUNCIL _ WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON V 32 WILLIAM P.
