A RESOLUTION FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
5 ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR WHATCOM COUNTY ROAD
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 6.

7 WHEREAS, there has been filed with the Clerk of the Whatcom
8 County Council, the preliminary assessment roll for Whatcom
9 ounty Road Improvement District No. 6, for the construction of a
10 bulkhead along Bayview Drive, in Point Roberts, Whatcom County,
11 in portions of Sections 35 and 36, Township 41 North, Range 3
12 West, W.M. and Section. 1, Township 40 North, Range 3 West, W.M.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing shall
14 e held on the assessment roll, on Thursday , February 21 1985,
15 at 7:30 prq or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council
16 Chambers on the second floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse,
17 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington. All persons who desire
18 to object to the assessment roll are hereby notified to make
19 their objections in writing and file them with the Clerk of the
20 Council prior to the date of hearing.
21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Council shall
22 give notice of the time, place, and purpose of the public hearing
23 by publication five times in a daily newspaper of general circula-
24 tion or two times in a weekly paper of general circulation in the
25 County. The date of the last publication shall be at least
26 fifteen days prior to the date of the hearing. The Clerk of the
27 Council shall also mail a copy of the notice at least fifteen
28 days before the date of the hearing to each property owner or
29 reputed owner within the district, at the address of such owner
30 as shown on the tax rolls of the County.
