RESOLUTION NO. 85 -2
A RESOLUTION REQUIRING A $5,000 BOND FOR
THE COMMANDER OR QUARTERMASTER IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE VETERANS RELIEF FUND.
WHEREAS, RCW 73.08.050 allows the County legislative
authority to require the posting of a bond in conjunction with
this fund, and
WHEREAS, this fund contains approximately $45,000
of County funds, and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council deems it appropriate
for the people who are authorized to administer these funds to
have a bond in the amount of $5,000.000
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Whatcom County
Council shall require the posting of a $5,000.00 bond before
the individual shall be authorized to disburse funds.from the
Soldiers and Sailors Relief Fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a dopy of this bond shall
be on-file with the Whatcom County Auditor's office prior to
authorization to withdraw funds.
PASSED this 3rd day of January 1985.
