RESOLUTION NO. 85 -1
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CRAIG W. COLE AS CHAIR
OF THE WHATCOM COUNTY COUNCIL FOR THE PAST TWO
YEARS; ALSO, FOR CONTRIBUTING TO THE ECONOMIC
GROWTH OF WHATCOM COUNTY
WHEREAS, Craig W. Cole has chaired the Whatcom County
Council for the past two years, 1983 and 1984 sessions, and
WHEREAS, we, the other members of the Whatcom County Council,
haven't agreed exactly with your every procedure, and
WHEREAS, agreeing exactly isn't too bad, as it means that
you, Craig W. Cole, have done a very commendable job, considering
the circumstances, and
WHEREAS, there is some suspicion that you might be the author
of the " WHATCOM CRIER" and
WHEREAS, you must have taken your "messing around with
politics" home with you, as you and Sue are now blessed with ShannE
and
WHEREAS, Jacquelyn and Christina were looking forward to
having a brother in order to name him "Sue ", so they could have
"Cash -ed" in on him, and
WHEREAS, we are sure Jacquelyn and Christina are pleased
with Shanna and will go along with you and Sue, denying the
tax deduction, for her being.is none other than for economic
development reasons,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we, the other members
of the Whatcom County.Council do appreciate your hard work and
dedication serving as chairperson of the Whatcom County Council
for the past two years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that you take the deduction and just
let Shanna develop with her sisters, Jacquelyn and Christina.
PASSED this 3rd day of January 1985.
