RESOLUTION NO. 86-4.9
A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
FOR SERVICE TO WHATCOM COUNTY
WHEREAS, Robert H. Nonhoff has faithfully served the citizens of
Whatcom County for a period of over 18 years as Housing Official, Chief Plan
Checker, and Chief Inspector; and
WHEREAS, his dedication to his duties and obligations has been an
outstanding example to all municipal employees; and
WHEREAS, he has given freely of his time to serve on numerous commit-
tees representing Whatcom County and the City of Bellingham; and
WHEREAS, Robert H. Nonhoff is retiring from County service on October
24, 1986;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council does
hereby express appreciation to Robert H. Nonhoff for his devotion to his duties
in the protection and concern for the health, safety and welfare of the citizens
of Whatcom County through his efforts in insuring that residences, commercial
and industrial buildings were constructed and maintained in a proper and safe
manner.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be placed in the records of
Whatcom County and a copy be presented to Mr. Nonhoff.
