INITIATING RESOLUTION
PROJECT NO. 99115
BEFORE THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
IN THE MATTER OF the formal establishment of CRP 99115, )
and award of contract for the Reconstruction of the West) RESOLUTION
Axton Road M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 2.50, F.A. No. RS- H371(1), )
F.A. Contract No. SA -0863.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that it is their
intention to: Formally establish CRP -99115 for the Reconstruction of the
West Axton Road, and-to award the contract for said work to Wilder Construction
Company, Inc. for the amount of their bid of $871,534.45.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriation from the officially adopted
road fund budget and based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in
the amounts and for the purposes shown:
PURPOSE
AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION
Engineering 81,500.
Right of Way Acquisition 131,000.
Sub -Total 212,500.
Construction 871.600.
Construction Engineering 130,800.
and Contingencies
TOTAL 1,214,900.
This project is included in the officially adopted annual road program as
Item # 3 (1986)
The project is hereby made a part of the officially adopted annual road
program in accordance with RCW 36.81.130 as Item #
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: (check appropriate box)
The construction is to be accomplished by contract in accordance with
RCW 36.77.020 et. seq.
The construction is to be accomplished by county forces in accordance with
RCW 36.77.060 and WAC 136 -18.
