RESOLUTION NO. 86 -36
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REASSESSMENT
OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE MACAULAY CREEK
FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council did hold a public hearing
on Thursday, June 19, 1986, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mount Baker High
School Library, Deming, Washington and heard testimony regarding
the recommended revisions to the Macaulay Creek Flood Control
District Degree of Benefit Lines, ratio of benefits and the
associated Assessment Roll; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council did determine that the
proposed revisions are equitable and just under the conditions
prevailing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the original Degree of
Benefit Lines and ratio of benefits be set aside and a new assess-
ment roll be established using the revised Degree of Benefit Lines
and ratio of benefits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Macaulay Creek Flood Control
District Board of Directors is hereby directed to compile the new
assessment roll, based upon an approved budget, and to remand the
same to the Whatcom County Treasurer for collection.
PASSED this 3rd day of July 1986.
