BEFORE THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
IN THE MATTER OF AMENDING THE COUNTY
1986 ROAD CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM BY ADDING
THERETO CLIFFSIDE DRIVE STORM DRAINAGE
BY UPSIZING AND REPLACING EXISTING
UNDERGROUND STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM FROM
AGATE PLACE TO CLIFFSIDE DRIVE WEST TO
RESERVE "A" AND SOUTH TO THE OUTFALL
STRUCTURE 200 FEET FROM THE SHORELINE OF
BELLINGHAM BAY.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council adopted, by Resolution 85 -60, the
Whatcom County 1986 Road Construction Program; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council has determined that it is necessary
that said program be amended to include Item No. 25, Project No. 99151,
Cliffside Drive Storm Drainage.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that it is their
intent to construct the Cliffside Drive Storm Drainage Project, as described
herein, in the fiscal year of 1986 and that the Whatcom County 1986 Road
Construction Program is hereby amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that appropriation from the officially adopted
road fund budget based on the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the
amount and for the purpose shown:

Engineering $ 26,000.00
Construction 149,000.00
T O T A L $175,000.00
This project is included in the officially adopted annual road program as
Item #
x The project is hereby made a part of the officially adopted annual road
program in accordance with RCW 36.81.130 as Item # 25
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: (Check appropriate box.)
x The construction is to be accomplished by contract in accordance with
RCW 36.77.020 et. seq.
The construction is to be accomplished by county forces in accordance
with RCW 36.77.060 and WA C 136 -18.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, in accordance with RCW 36.81.130, that amendment
is approved by the unanimous vote of the County Council.
