HomeMy WebLinkAboutres1987-0641 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22( 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 INTRODUCED BY: Consent PROPOSED BY: Executive DATE: December 17, 1987 RESOLUTION NO. 87 -64 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION 87 -58, THE EXEMPT SALARY RESOLUTION FOR 1988 WHEREAS, it is necessary to establish the salaries for the unrepresented employees; and WHEREAS, resolution 87 -58 did not clarify the status of several of the exempt employees regarding their potential step movements; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Section 12 is added to resolution 87 -58 as follows: In addition to the 2% increase incorporated herein for the Undersheriff, Chief Criminal Deputy and Chief Corrections Officer, should the Sheriff's Deputies and/or the Corrections (Officers and Support Staff bargaining units adopt a step raise plan which adds an additional top step to their salary plan, these unrepresented officials shall also be awarded that step retroactive to the effective date agreed to in the respective collective bargaining agreement to which they are associated, but in no case earlier than January 1, 1988.
