RESOLUTION NO. 87 -45
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE SALE OF WHATCOM
COUNTY SURPLUS EQUIPMENT AND THE HOLDING OF A
PUBLIC SALE PURSUANT TO R.C.W. 36.34 I
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 1, 1987 to discuss the sale of Whatcom
County property; and
WHEREAS, it was determined to be in the best interest of Whatcom County to sell the
property listed in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and hereby incorporated by reference;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County property listed in Exhibit "A"
shall be sold at a public sale to the highest responsive bidder or bidders through sealed i
bids to be opened at 1:30 p.m. on October 27, 1987 in the Office of Central Purchasing,
subsequent to compliance with the notice requirements of R.C.W. 36.34. I

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if a successful bidder fails to provide payment for
an awarded item within ten days after notice of award, exclusive of the day of notice,
the award shall be made to the next highest responsive bidder.
