A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESTORATION
OF THE MOUNT BAKER THEATRE AN OFFICIAL CENTENNIAL
PROJECT OF WHATCOM COUNTY
WHEREAS, 1989 is to be celebrated as the centennial year of
the acceptance of Washington State into the Union as the 42nd
State, and;
WHEREAS, important progress is expected to be made in the
project of restoring the Mount Baker Theatre, culminating in the
centennial year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.that the project of restoring
the Mount Baker Theatre is.hereby declared to be an Official
Centennial Project of Whatcom County.
Passed this 1$th day of June 1.1987.
