RESOLUTION N0. 87=4
A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
FOR SERVICES TO WHATCON COUNTY
BY DAVE JENKINS
WHEREAS, Dave Jenkins has faithfully served the citizens of
Whatcom County for a period of 50 years as an outstanding
volunteer for Bellingham Mountain Rescue, Mt. Baker Ski Patrol
and numerous other volunteer organizations; and
WHEREAS, his dedication to his community has been an
outstanding example to all volunteers; and
WHEREAS, he has given freely of his time to serve with
numerous volunteer organizations representing Whatcom County; and
WHEREAS, Dave Jenkins completed 50 years of volunteer
service on December 31, 1986;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County
Council does hereby express appreciation to Dave Jenkins for his
devotion to his community in the protection of the health, safety
and welfare of the citzens of Whatcom County through his efforts
to assure that adequate and efficient manpower was available when
needed, and for his expertise in management of resources; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be placed in the
records of Whatcom County and a copy presented to Mr. Jenkins.
