HomeMy WebLinkAboutres1988-0651 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13. 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 INTRODUCED BY Consent PROPOSED BY County Executive DATE INTRODUCED November 3,1988 RESOLUTION NO. 88 -65 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF ADOPTING THE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES OF NOR -BELL CARE FACILITY FOR THE YEAR 1989 WHEREAS, it is necessary to adopt a salary schedule for the Unrepresented Employees of Nor -Bell CARE FACILITY for the year 1989, and, WHEREAS, the Nor -Bell CARE FACILITY Board of Directors has recom- mended the salaries and benefits of the unrepresented. employees be established as follows, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: (1) That the term "unrepresented employee" shall include all employees not included in the present collective bargaining unit 2) That the salaries of the unrepresented employees be established as set forth in Exhibit A. 3) That all changes in salary and benefits as a result of enact- ment of this Resolution shall become effective January 1st, 1989. 4) That the eligible unrepresented employees shall be granted the same benefits established for the Union employees under the Collective Bargaining Unit Contract for 1989, except for the longevity benefit. Provided, that the provisions for over- time payment apply only to unrepresented employees who are sub ject to the Federal Fair Labor Standard's Act (FLSA). 5) That any change in salary or classification of unrepresented employees covered by the attached schedule must receive prior approval of the Whatcom County Council; 6) That in the event Nor -Bell Care Facility should ever be affected by a strike of its employees, the County Executive is empowered to authorize overtime pay for unrepresented employees not subject to FLSA during the period of the strike. 7) That in the event of clerical error and /or an unrepresented employee or position is not included on this listing, or a salary is miscalculated, salary and benefits for said employee shall be corrected and made retroactive to the appropriate date, but in no case to a date earlier than January 1, 1989.
