RESOLUTION NO. 88 -60
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF
IMPLEMENTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS
OF THE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AUDIT
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council provided an appropriation in
1988 for the conduct of a financial management operational audit;
and
WHEREAS, the Matrix Management Group conducted the audit and has
made its final report to the Council Committee of the Whole; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to evaluate the recommendations in a
more systematic manner for policy level review as to the
feasibility of their implementation;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Whatcom County Council hereby
requests the County Executive to have the ad hoc committee develop
a plan for implementing the audit recommendations with a proposed
time line and projected costs associated with implementation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Committee's report should be forwarded
to the County Executive for presentation and recommendation to the
County Council for its further review, prioritization and
concurrence by February 2nd, 1989.
