RESOLUTION NO. 88-39
A RESOLUTION FOR HEARING AND NOTICE OF
HEARING ON SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has
been the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington
since the date of foreclosure, 1986 and 1987; and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best
interest of the County and the people thereof that said property
be sold; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
interest to sell Sudden Valley, Division 23, Lot 84 for the
minimum price of 1,206.62 , plus costs, and
further in this sale transferring mineral rights; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
interest to sell Sandy Point Shores, Division 1, Lot 47 for the
minimum price of $633.31, plus costs, and
further in this sale transferring mineral rights; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed
under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified check,
or money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time of
sale; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a
public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under
said terms, be held on the 18th day of August
1988, at 7 :00 P.m., at the Whatcom County Courthouse
Whatcom County, Washington; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County
Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner
prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
