RESOLUTION NO. 88 -16
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMILY JACKSON TO
APPEAR BEFORE THE UTILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, it is important that the Utilities and
Transportation Commission hear from Whatcom County in regards to
the issues of solid waste; and,
WHEREAS, Emily Jackson being a member of the Whatcom
County Council and also the Whatcom County Council's)
representative on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee, it is
appropriate that she be selected as the one to appear before the
Utilities and Transportation Commission and to observe and make
inquiries on matters of interest to Whatcom County; and,
WHEREAS, prior to receiving Emily Jackson's testimony'
as an Intervenor before the Utilities and Transportation
Commission, they have required that we adopt an official
Resolution so that her testimony may be preserved. i
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
The Whatcom County Council hereby authorizes Emily
Jackson to appear and testify before the Utilities and
Transportation Commission on the issue of solid waste.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that: i

This Resolution is being adopted in an effort to help
preserve the testimony which Emily Jackson has already given to
that Commission.
