6 HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
7 SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
8 REQUEST NO. 23A
9 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has
10 been the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington
11 since August 25, 1989_; and
12 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the
13 best interest of the County and the people thereof that said
14 property be sold; and,
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
16 interest to sell Peaceful Valley Div 1, Lot 49, for the minimum
17 price of $3199.21, plus costs, and further in this sale
18 transferring all mineral right; and,
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be
20 allowed under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified
21 check, or money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time
22 of sale; and,
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council,
24 that public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property,
25 under said terms, be held on the 7th day of December ,
26 1989, at 7:00 p.m., at the County Courthouse , Whatcom
27 County, Washington; and
28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom
29 County Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner
30 prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
