2 RESOLUTION NO. 89-92
3 CONFIRMING THE DENIAL OF OPEN SPACE APPLICATIONS
4 FILED BY BARBER, HAINES AND LEE
5 WHEREAS, in keeping with new policies and procedures being followed by the
6 Council Office staff, a resolution must be passed ordering either the approval or denial
7 of open space applications; and
8 WHEREAS, three applications are on file in the Council Office that have not
9 yet been acted upon by the Council; and
10 WHEREAS, Planning Commission reports of May 1988 and June 1988
11 recommended that the applications filed by Gerald Barber, Walden Haines and Dale &
12 Alice Lee be denied;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
14 the Planning Commission's recommendations of denial on the open space applications
i5 filed by Gerald Barber, Walden Haines and Dale and Alice Lee are hereby confirmed;
16 and
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council will notify the
18 applicants of this decision and refund the $30 application fees filed by each.
