6 HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
7 SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
8 REQUEST NO. 24
9 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has
10 been the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington
11 since February 26, 1988 ; and
12 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the
13 best interest of the County and the people thereof that said
14 property be sold; and,
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
16 interest to sell Parcel #390706 - 226004 (see attachment "A" full
17 legal description) for the minimum price of $1079.39, plus costs,
18 and further in this sale transferring all mineral rights; also,
19 Parcel #390707 - 215524 (see attachment "B" for full legal
20 description) for the minimum price of $508.93, plus costs, and
21 further in this sale transferring all mineral rights; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be
2a allowed under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified
24 check, or money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time
25 of sale; and,
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council,
27 that public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property,
28 under said terms, be held on the 2nd day of November ,
29 1989, at 7 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Cths Whatcom
30 County, Washington; and
31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom
32 County Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner
33 prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
