RESOLUTION NO. 89 -90
ORDERING THE SEGREGATION OF THE ASSESSMENT FOR.
LOCAL AND ROAD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 9
SEGREGATION NO. 89 -4
WHEREAS, Ordinance 87 -55 established procedures for the
segregation of special assessments in Local Improvement Districts
and Road Improvement Districts, establishing a fee and costs for
each tract of land for which a segregation is to be made; and
WHEREAS, Weden Engineering has submitted a request for
the segregation of Parcels 8 and 12 within LRID No. 9 on behalf of
the Trillium Corporation, along with a check to cover the
Treasurer's processing fee of $3 for each tract being segregated;
and
WHEREAS, the original tracts are described in Exhibit A,
along with the original assessments, dated March 2, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the definition of boundaries of the divided
parts and the amount of the assessment chargeable to each part can
be found in Exhibit B; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County
Council that the request for segregation has been duly considered
and deems it appropriate that this segregation be made, and that
the Treasurer's Office is hereby ordered to make segregation on the
original assessment rolls as indicated in Exhibit B, subject to the
following conditions:
1. The assessment on Parcel No. 10 of specific binding .
site plan No. 9 of $279.83 be paid in full.
2. The assessment on Tract A of specific binding site
plan No. 9 of $11,263.99 be paid in full.
3. Payment of $18,795 towards assessment principal in
the remaining portions of Parcel 12 as identified in
Segregation 89 -4.
