RESOLUTION NO. 89 -86
ORDERING THE SEGREGATION OF THE ASSESSMENT FOR
LOCAL AND ROAD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 9
SEGREGATION NO. 89 -2
WHEREAS, Ordinance 87 -55 established procedures for the
segregation of special assessments in Local Improvement Districts
and Road Improvement Districts, establishing a fee and costs for
each tract of land for which a segregation is to be made; and
WHEREAS, Weden Engineering submitted a request several
months ago for the segregation of Parcels 12 and 13 within LRID No.
9 on behalf of the Trillium Corporation along with a check made out
to the Whatcom County Treasurer to cover the Treasurer's processing
fee of $3 for each tract being segregated; and
WHEREAS, the original tracts are described in Exhibit A,
along with the original assessments, dated March 2, 1989, and the
definition of boundaries of the divided parts and the amount of the
assessment chargeable to each part are in Exhibit B; and
WHEREAS, due to a misunderstanding of the process, a
resolution ordering the segregation was not prepared and /or
processed, as required in Ordinance 87 -55; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County
Council has duly considered this request for segregation and deems
it appropriate that this segregation be made.
