1 RESOLUTION NO. 89-85
2 ORDERING THE SEGREGATION OF THE ASSESSMENT FOR
3 ROAD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 8,
4 SEGREGATION NO. 89 -2
5 WHEREAS, Ordinance 87 -55 established procedures for the segregation of special
6 assessments in Local Improvement Districts and Road Improvement Districts, establishing
7 a fee and costs for each tract of land for which a segregation is to be made; and
8 WHEREAS, Weden Engineering submitted a request several months ago for the
9 segregation of Parcels 7 and 10 within R.I.D. No. 8 on behalf of the Trillium
10 Corporation, along with a check made out to the Whatcom County Treasurer to cover
11 the Treasurer's processing fee of $3 for each tract being segregated; and
12 WHEREAS, the original tracts are described in Exhibit A, along with the original
13 assessments, dated March 2, 1989, and the definition of boundaries of the divided parts
14 and the amount of the assessment chargeable to each part are in Exhibit B; and
15 WHEREAS, due to a misunderstanding of the process, a resolution ordering the
16 segregation was not prepared and or processed, as required in Ordinance 87 -55; and
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Council
18 has duly considered this request for segregation and deems it appropriate that this
19 segregation be made.
