Home My WebLink Aboutres1989-068y .. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 51 52 53 54 August 3, 1989 INTRODUCED BY: Consent PROPOSED BY: County Executive RESOLUTION NO. 89 -68 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS EQUIPMENT AND THE SETTING OF A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING THEREON PURSUANT TO R.C.W. 36.34.020 WHEREAS, the following described property listed in Exhibit "A ", hereby incorporated by reference, is now and has been the property of Whatcom County; and WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Executive has determined that it is in the best interest of the County to sell such.equipment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that a public hearing on the matter of the sale of such property be held on the 17th day of August, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Chambers, second floor, Whatcom County Courthouse, Bellingham, Washington, for the purpose of admitting testimony for and against the propriety of selling such equipment; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive is hereby authorized to remove property from this list up to the day of the sale, if she deems the property to be necessary for public use; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County Council is directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law.
