5 HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
6 SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
7 REQUEST NO. 20
8 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has
9 been the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington
10 since February 26, 1988 ; and
11 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the
12 best interest, of -the County and the people thereof that said
13 property be sold; and,
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is i.rn the best
15 interest to sell Lot 3, Bik 6 -Also an undivided 1/200 interest in
16 reserve tracts A- C -D -F, Plat of Gooseberry* Point, for the minimum
17 price of $799.00, plus costs, and. furtt;er in this sale transferring
18 mineral rights and Lot 4, Blk 6 -Also an undivided 1/200 interest
19 in reserve tracts A- C -D -F, plat of Gooseberry point, for the
20 minimum price of $799.00, plus costs, and further in this sale
21 transferring mineral rights; and,
22 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that. said price shall not be
23 allowed under contract and shall be paid in eiLfaer cash, certified
24 check, or money order to the Miatcom Count->r Treasurer at the time
25 of sale; and,
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council,
27 that public hearing on the matter o:f ttie sale ut' sai.d property,
28 under said terms, be held on the 7th day of September
29 1989, at 7:00 p.m., at the Whatcom County Courthouse , Whatcom
30 County, Washington; and
31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom
32 County Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner
33 prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.31.030.
