2 RESOLUTION NO. 89 -51
3 REPEALING RESOLUTION 88 -24, RELATING TO THE
4 LOCATION OF A NEW JUVENILE DETENTION FACILITY
5 WHEREAS, Whatcom County and Bellingham City governments have come to an
6 agreement, through a letter of understanding dated May 11, 1989, relating to
7 the location of the new juvenile detention facilities;
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
9 Resolution 88 -24, which proposed a cooperative effort for the acquisition of
10 real estate for, and the construction of, a juvenile detention facility
11 between Whatcom County and the City of Bellingham, is hereby repealed.
