4 RESOLUTION NO. 89 -45

5 HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
6 SALE OF COUNTY TAY TITLE PROPERTY
7 WHEREAS, the following described property -is nr.)w , and has
8 been the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington
9 since December 16, 1983 through January 6, 1989 ; and
10 WHEREAS, the Miatcom County Council does deem it in the
11 best interest of the County and the people thereof that said
12 property be sold; and,
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
14 interest -to sell 202 Sudden Valley Lots (See attached 4 page list)
15 for the minimum price of $183,667.68, plus costs, and further in
16 this sale transferring mineral rights; and,
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be
18 allowed under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified
19 check, or money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time
20 of sale; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council,
G that public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property,
23 under said terms, be held on the 15th day of June
24 1989, at 7:00 p.m., at the Whatcom County Courthouse , Whatcom
25 County, Washington; and
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom
27 County Council shall give Notice of such l-:earing in the manner
28 prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
