5 HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
6 SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY, Request No. 14
7 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has
8 been the property of the County of Whatcom, State -of Washington
9 since January 6, 1989 ; and
10 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the
11 best interest of the County and the people thereof that said
12 property be sold; and,
1-3 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
14 interest to sell Glenhaven Lakes Division #1, Block 1, Lot 21 for
15 the minimum price of $560.00, plus costs, and further in this sale
16 transferring mineral rights, Glenhaven Lakes Division #4, Block 1,
17 Lot 3 for the minimum price of $810.00, plus costs, and further in
18 this sale transferring mineral rights and Glenhaven Lakes Division
19 #3, Block 2, Lot 1 for the minimum price of $710.00, plus costs,
20 and further in this sale transferring mineral rights; and,
?1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be
2 allowed under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified
23 check, or money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time
24 of sale; and,
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council,
26 that public hearing on -the matter of -the sale of said property,
27 under said terms, be held on the 6th day of May ,
28 1989, at 7:00 p.m., at the Whatcom County Courthouse , Whatcom
29 County, Washington; and
30 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom
31 County Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner
32 prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
