RESOLUTION NO.89 -23
HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has
been the property of the County of Whatcom, State.of Washington
since January 6, 1989 ; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the
best interest of the County and the people thereof that said
property be sold; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
interest to sell Lot 24 Division 4 unrecorded assessors plat of
Emerald Lake -(See attached full legal description) for the minimum
price of $557.54, plus costs, and further in this sale transferring
mineral rights; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be
allowed under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified
check, or money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time
of sale; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council,
that public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property,
under said terms, be held on the 6th day of April ,
1989, at 7•nn p.m., at the Whatcom County Courthouse , Whatcom
County, Washington; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom
County Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner
prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
