2 RESOLUTION NO. 89 -09
3 A RESOLUTION FOR HEARING AND NOTICE OF
HEARING ON SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
4 REQUEST NO. 7
6 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has
6 been the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington
7 since February 26, 1988 and,
8 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best
9 interest of the County and the people thereof that said property
10 be sold; and,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
12 interest to sell Sudden Valley Division 3, Lot 107 for the
13. inimum price of $631.34, plus costs, and further in this sale
14 transferring mineral rights; and Sudden Valley Division 2, Lot 51
16 for the minimum price of $828.67, plus costs, and further in this
16 sale transferring mineral rights; and,
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed
18 under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified check,
19 r money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time of
20 ale; and,
21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a
22 ublic hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under
23 said terms, be held on the 16th day of March ,
24 1989, at 7 -00 p.m., at the.Whatcom County Courthouse , Whatcom
26 ounty, Washington; and,
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County
27 Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner
28 prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
