A RESOLUTION FOR HEARING AND NOTICE OF
HEARING ON SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 5

WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has
6
been the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington
6
7 since February 26, 1988 and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it: in the best
9 interest of the County and the people thereof that said property
10 be sold; and,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best
12 interest to sell Sudden Valley Division n23, Lot 33 for the
13 minimum price of $1,299.29, plus costs, and further in this sale
14 transferring mineral rights; and,
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed
16 under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified
17 cashier's check, money order or personal check, with a bank
18 letter guarantying check payment to the Whatcom County Treasurer
19 at the time of sale; and,
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that a
.1 public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under
22 said terms, be held on the 16th day of February
23 1989, at 7 p.m. , at: the Whatcom County Courthouse Whatcom
24 County, Washington; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County
26 Council sha.l.l .give Notice of such hearing in the manner
27 prescribed by law under R.C.W. 36.34.030.
