6 SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
7 REQUEST NO. 55, 56, 57, 58, 59
e WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been
9 the property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington since August
10 31, 1989; and
11 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County council does deem it in the best
12 interest of the County and the people thereof that said property be
13 sold; and,
14 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Engineering, Public Works, Parks,
15 Planning, and Assessor Departments were contacted and expressed no
16 interest in retaining these properties for County use;
17 HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest
18 to sell:
19 Parcel #400522- 203079, for the minimum price of 83924.15, plus costs,
20 Parcel #400522- 365187, for the minimum price of 83554.37, plus costs,
21 Parcel #400522- 319157, for the minimum price of 84107.58, plus costs,
22 Parcel #400522- 181176, for the minimum price of 86175.50, plus costs,
23 Parcel #400522- 170125, for the minimum price of 83779.58, plus costs
24 and further in this sale transferring all mineral rights; and,
25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed
6 under contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified check, or
27 money order to the Whatcom County Treasurer at the time of sale; and,
28 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that
29 public hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said
30 terms, be held on the day of , 1990, at
31 p.m., at the Whatcom County,
32 Washington; and
33 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County
34 Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
35 law under R.C.W. 36.34. 030.
