SUMMARY STATEMENT.-
This project will provide a fully actuated traffic signal at the SR -539-
Axton Road intersection, greatly enhancing traffic circulation in this
vicinity.

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 99195
AND THE AWARD OF THE CONTRACT FOR
THE INTERSECTION SIGNALIZATION OF SR -539
AT AXTON ROAD
WHEREAS, this project is a part of the officially adopted 1990 Annual Road
Program in accordance with RCW 36.81.130 as Item No. 9.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 99195 is formally established for the Intersection Signalization
of SR-539 at Axton Road.
The contract for this project is awarded to WATERWORKS, INC. in
the amount of their bid of $69,690.00 including taxes.
An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on
the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the pur-
poses shown:

Construction Engineering, 4,200.00
Surveying and Misc. Contingency
TOTAL $81.000.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by
