growth and cultural life of the residents of Whatcom County.

2 ENDORSING THE EFFORTS OF THE WHATCOM SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
3 UNDER THE DIRECTION OF CONDUCTOR NICHOLAS BUSSARD
4 WHEREAS, the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra is an important link in the cultural
5 and volunteer spirit of the citizens of Whatcom County; and
6 WHEREAS, the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra is a widely supported community
7 based organization which emphasizes musical growth through high level performances and
8 open rehearsals; and
9 WHEREAS, the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra's musical season begins November
10 17, 1990,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that it
12 recognizes the Whatcom Symphony orchestra's contribution to Whatcom County's quality
13 of life, congratulates members on the opening of their sixteenth season, and wishes them
14 continued success.
