SUMMARY STATEMENT.-
County owns a 1969 Dodge Traffic Line Marker,. Equipment No. 303, Serial No.
7786006146,.Model L700, License No: C- 39863, which is no longer adequate for
County's use. Sale of paint striper to Skagit County for $4,000 has been
negotiated provided said equipment is declared surplus.

RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF SURPLUSING EQUIPMENT NO
LONGER ADEQUATE FOR USE BY WHATCOM COUN'T'Y AND SELLING IT
TO ANOTHER GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY PURSUANT TO RCW 36.34.02
WHEREAS, a 1969 Dodge Traffic Line Marker, Equipment No. 303, Serial No.
7786006146, Model L700, License No. C -39863 is now and has been the property of
Whatcom County; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by Whatcom County Public Works that the
paint striper is no longer adequate for use by the County; and
WHEREAS, it has been, determined that it would be in the best interest of
Whatcom County to sell the paint striper to Skagit County for a negotiated price of
$4,000,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that equipment No. 303, a 1969 Dodge
paint striper shall be deemed a surplus piece of equipment, and the County Executive
shall be authorized to transfer said property to Skagit County for a negotiated price of
$4,000.
