SUMMARY STATEMENT.•
This resolution sets the hearing on the proposed sale of county owned property, Request
no. 35. The property in question is Parcel #390707 - 439554, TOWN OF GLACIER, BLK:3
WLY H FT LOT 2- SUBJ TO ESMTS FOR WATER RTS -PIPE LI DESC IN 16 -D -195 16 -D -231.
After the hearing, the Council will be asked to pass a resolution authorizing the
sale of this property.
RECOMMENDED ACTION.•
Recommend the Council approve the resolution and set the hearing.

6 SALE OF COUNTY OWNED PROPERTY
7 REQUEST NO. 35
8 WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the
9 property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington since
10 November 5, 1984 ; and
11 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest
12 of the County and the people thereof that said property be sold; and,
13 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Engineering, Public Works, Parks,
14 Planning, and Assessor Departments were contacted and expressed no interest in
15 retaining this property for County use; and
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest to
17 sell Parcel # 390707 - 439554, TOWN OF GLACIER, BLK: 3 WLY 25 FT LOT 2- SUBJ TO
18 ESMTS FOR WATER RTS -PIPE LI DESC IN 16 -D -195 16 -D -231, for the minimum price
19 of $500.00, plus costs, and further in this sale transferring all mineral rights; and,
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed under
21 contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified check, or money order to the
22 Whatcom County Treasurer at the time of sale; and,
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council, that public
24 hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on
25 the 74tth day of April , 1990, at 7 p.m., at the Whatcom
26 County Courthouse , Whatcom County, Washington; and
27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County
28 Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under
29 R. C. W. 36.34.030.
