SUMMARY STATEMENT. -
This resolution sets the hearing on the proposed sale of county tax title property.
Requests no. 25, 26, 29, 32, 33 & 34 . The property in question is:

RESOLUTION NO. 90 -19
HEARING AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON
SALE OF COUNTY TAX TITLE PROPERTY
REQUEST NO. 25, 26, 29, 32, 33, 34
WHEREAS, the following described property is now, and has been the
property of the County of Whatcom, State of Washington
since August 25, 1989 ;and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council does deem it in the best interest
of the County and the people thereof that said property, be sold; and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Engineering, Public Works, Parks,
Planning, and Assessor Departments were contacted and expressed no interest in
retaining these properties for County use; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the best interest to
sell:
Parcel # 400522 - 175264, for the minimum price of $3793.40, plus costs,
Parcel # 380134 - 351136, for the minimum price of $737.60, plus costs,
Parcel # 400535 - 384263, for the minimum price of $1500.00, plus costs,
Parcel # 400522 - 357153, for the minimum price of $3900.00, plus costs,
Parcel # 400522 - 363158, for the minimum price of $3450.00, plus costs,
Parcel # 400522 - 139215, for the minimum price of $3200.00, plus costs,
and further in this sale transferring all mineral rights; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said price shall not be allowed under
contract and shall be paid in either cash, certified check, or money, order to the
Whatcom County Treasurer at the time of sale; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Whatcom Count, Council, that public
hearing on the matter of the sale of said property, under said terms, be held on
the 24th day of _ April , 1990, at 7 p.m., at the Whatcom
County Courthouse , Whatcom County, Washington; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Whatcom County
Council shall give Notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law under
R. C. W. 36.34.030.
