COMMITTEE ACTION (including dates): COUNCIL ACTION- (including dates): 10/8/91: Council approved AB91 -374A RES91 -078 Related File Numbers: Ordinance or Resolution Number: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 51 52 53 54 INTRODUCED BY: Consent PROPOSED BY: Purchasing DATE INTRODUCED: 101/08/91 RESOLUTION NO. 91 -078 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY AND THE SETTING OF A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING THEREON PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10 WHEREAS, a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice four -door police patrol sedan, serial number 1G1BL5379MR132674, is now and has been the property of Whatcom County; and WHEREAS, the sedan has been wrecked in an accident so that it is beyond cost effective repair; and WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Purchasing Manager has determined that it is in the best interest of the County to sell such property, and has set its value at an amount in excess of $1,000; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that a public hearing on the matter of the sale of such property be held on the 22nd day of October, 1991, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as is possible, in the Whatcom County Council Meeting Room at 1000 North Forest Street, Bellingham, Washington, for the purpose of admitting testimony for and against the propriety of selling such equipment; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County Council is directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law.
