9 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE
10 SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY
11 AND THE SETTING OF A DATE FOR PUBLIC
12 HEARING THEREON PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10

14 WHEREAS, a 1991 Dodge Spirit four -door sedan, serial number
15 1B3XA46K5MF677108, is now and has been the property of Whatcom
16 County; and
17
18 WHEREAS, the sedan has been wrecked in an accident so that it is
19 beyond cost effective repair; and
20
21 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Purchasing Manager has determined that
22 it is in the best interest of the County to sell such property, and
23 has set its value at an amount in excess of $1,000;
24
25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that a
public hearing on the matter of the sale of such property be held on
G/ the 3rd day of September, 1991, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter
28 as is possibly, in the Whatcom County Council Meeting Room at 1000
29 North Forest Street, Bellingham, Washington, for the purpose of.
30 admitting testimony for and against the propriety of selling such
31 equipment; and
32
33 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County Council is
34 directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by
35 law.
