SUMMARY STATEMENT
The 1991 Annual Construction Program has as Project No. 9, the
Structural overlay of Hannegan Road between Smith Road and Ten Mile
Road. This project is to be paid for wi.th Local and State fund (CAPP).
This is part of our program to upgrade Hannegan Road to an all- weather
standard.
ORIGINATORS RECOMMENDED ACTION.-
Award of bid to the low bidder, Wilder Construction Company in the
amount of $438,954.00, including taxes..

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 99207
AND THE AWARD OF THE CONTRACT FOR-STRUCTURAL OVERLAY
OF HANNEGAN ROAD,-SMITH ROAD TO TEN MILE ROAD
WHEREAS, this project is a part of the officially adopted 1990 Annual Road
Program in accordance with RCW 36.81.130 as Item No. 9.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 99207 is formally established for the Structural Overlay of
Hannegan Road. The contract for this project is awarded to Wilder
Construction Company in the amount of their bid of $438,954.00, and
An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on
the County Engineer's estimate-is hereby made in the amounts and for the pur-
poses shown:

Engineering 15,000.00
Right of Way Acquisition
Sub -Total $ 15,000.00
Construction 439,000.00
Construction Engineering, 46,000.00
Testing and Contingency
TOTAL $ 5009000.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by
contract in accordance with RCW 36.77.020 et. seq.
