SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The 1991 Annual Construction Program has as Project No. 10, the reconstruction of
Birch Bay - Lynden Road. This project is to be paid for with Local and Federal Aid
Secondary (FAS) funds. This is part of our program-to upgrade Birch Bay - Lynden Road
to an all- weather standard.
ORIGINATORS RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award of bid to the low bidder, Associated Sand and Gravel, in the amount of
$756,257.20, including taxes.

WHEREAS, this project is a part of the officially adopted 1991 Annual Road
Program in accordance with RCW 36.81.130 as Item No. 10.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 99185 is formally established for the Reconstruction of Birch Bay - Lynden
Road, Rathbone Road to SR -539. The contract for this project is awarded to
Associated Sand and Gravel in the amount of their bid of $756,257.20, and
An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on
the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and.for the pur-
poses shown:
