SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The 1991 Annual Construction Program has as Project No.. 7, the
reconstruction of South Pass Road. This project is to be paid for
with Local and State Rural Arterial Program (RAP) funds. This is
part of our program to upgrade South Pass Road to an all- weather
standard.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award of bid to the low bidder, Wilder Construction Company
in the amount of $741,142.50, including taxes.

ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PRO-JECT NO. 99180
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF
SOUTH PASS ROAD, M.P. 0.0 TO M.P. 1.5
WHEREAS, this project is a part of the officially adopted 1991 Annual Road
Program in accordance with RCW 36.81.130 as Item No. 7.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 99180 is formally established for the Reconstruction of South Pass
Road. The contract for this project is awarded to Wilder Construction Company in the
amount of their bid of $741,142.50, and
An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on
the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the pur-
poses shown:
