Yes /L/ No SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Department of Public Works has notified Purchasing that the Caterpillar 816B landfill-compactor which. had been used at the Cedarville landfill is now surplus to the department's needs. If declared surplus, the-county intends to dispose -of'it at public sale by award to the highest responsive and responsible bidder following an .advertised call for sealed. bids.. R A 1-9n 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 48 49 50 51 52 53 54 INTRODUCED BY: Consent PROPOSED BY: Nat Dickinson DATE INTRODUCED: 3/26/91 SUBSTITUTE 4 -9 -91 RESOLUTION NO. 91 -020 A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10 WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 9 1991 to discuss the sale of Whatcom County property; and WHEREAS, It was determined to be in the best interest of Whatcom County to sell a Caterpillar Model 816B landfill compactor which had been used at the Cedarville Landfill; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that such property shall be sold at public sale by award to the highest responsive and responsible bidder, following an advertised call for sealed bids. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the minimum acceptable bid shall be $90,000. DATED this 9th day of April , 1991.
