SUMMARY STATEMENT.•
This proposed segregation has been reviewed by Brad Bennett, Public Works Accounting, and Susan Krenz
of the Treasurer's Office. The only condition placed upon passage of this resolution is the "pay down" of
$14,440.33 of assessment on the remaining portion of Parcel No. 9, which is included within the resolution.

2 ORDERING THE SEGREGATION OF LOCAL AND ROAD IMPROVEMENT
3 DISTRICT NO. 9, SEGREGATION NO. 90 -3
4 WHEREAS, Ordinance 87 -55 established procedures for the segregation of special
5 assessments in Local Improvement Districts and Road Improvement Districts, establishing
6 a fee and costs for each tract of land for which a segregation is to be made; and
7 WHEREAS, Weden Engineering has submitted a request for the segregation of
8 Parcel 9 within L.R.I.D. No. 9 on behalf of the Trillium Corporation, along with two checks
9 made out to the Whatcom County Treasurer for $6, to cover the Treasurer's processing fee
10 of $3 for each tract being segregated; and
11 WHEREAS, the original tracts are described in Exhibit A and the attached
12 amendments thereto, along with the original assessments;
13 WHEREAS, the definition of boundaries of the divided parts and the amount of the
14 assessment chargeable to each part can be found in Exhibit A and the attached amendments
15 thereto;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that the
17 request for segregation is deemed appropriate, and that the Treasurer's Office is hereby
18 ordered to make segregation on the original assessment rolls as indicated in Exhibit A,
19 subject to the condition that pay downs are required on the following:
