RESOLUTION NO. 92-69
ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 99229
AND THE AWARD FOR THE CONTRACT FOR
GUARDRAIL SITE IMPROVEMENTS, VARIOUS LOCATIONS
WHEREAS, this project is a part of the officially adopted 1992 Annual Road Program in accordance with
RCW 36.81.130 as Item No. 5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom .County Council:
That CRP No. 99229 is formally established for Guardrail Site Improvements, Various Locations.
The contract for this project is awarded to Petersen Brothers, Inc. in the amount of their bid of
$119,868.13, including taxes.
An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on the County Engineer's estimate
is hereby made in the amounts and for the purposes shown,
PURPOSE AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION
Engineering $ 20,000.00
Right -of -way Acquisition $ 0.00
Subtotal $ 20,000.00
Construction $120,000.00
Additional Guardrail Sites' $ 50,000.00
Construction Engineering
Testing & Contingency $ 10,000.00
TOTAL $200,000.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the construction is to be accomplished by contract in accordance with
RCW 36.77.020, et. seq.
