WHEREAS,
the owners of over 80 percent of the 302.78 acres
lying adjacent to

and northerly of Drainage Improvement District No. 30 have signed
a petition to

expand District
30 to include this additional acreage, and

WHEREAS,
the Engineering Division of Public Works has found
that said
20
302.78 acres
will be benefited by being added to D.I.D. No. 30,
and
21

WHEREAS,
the Whatcom County Council serves as the governing
body for D.I.D.

No. 30,

NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that the petition, as revised to include

302.78 acres,
as per the attached legal description (Appendix A)
and map

(Appendix B)
be hereby approved as being included within D.I.D.
No. 30.

APPENDIX A
All of the following described lands and roads abutting, to wit:
1) The west half of the west half of the southwest quarter of Section 25,,
Township 39 North, Range 2 East of W.M.
2) The southeast quarter, except the west 500 feet, of the southwest quarter of
said southeast quarter; and the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter;
and the south 400 feet of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter;
and the north 400 feet of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter;
and the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 26, Township
39 North, Range 2 East of W.M.
3) That portion of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section
35, Township 39 North, Range 2 East of W.M., lying northeasterly of the
current benefit boundary of Drainage Improvement District No. 30.
4) Lots 40 through 45 of Belden Acres, as recorded in Volume 7 of Plats, Page
89 and lying within the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of
Section 36, Township 39 North, Range 2 East of W.M.
