SUMMARY STATEMENT-
The Board of Supervisors for the County -wide Flood Control Zone District adopted Resolution 92 -027
on April 14, 1992. This resolution set up a three -year funding mechanism for Flood Control Zone District
activities. Collection of revenues secured by the three -year funding mechanism will begin April, 1993.
District set -up costs and certain District flood control program costs will be incurred in 1992. This
resolution establishes an interim 1992 funding policy for District costs incurred prior to collection of
District revenues.

A resolution by the Governing Body
of the County -wide Flood Control Zone District
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN INTERIM 1992 FUNDING POLICY FOR
THE COUNTY WIDE FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County -wide Flood Control Zone
District adopted Resolution 92 -027 on April 14, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution 92 -027 established a three -year funding mechanism for Flood
Control Zone District activities; and,
WHEREAS, District set -up costs and certain District flood control program costs will
be incurred in 1992 yet collection of revenues will not begin until April 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County -wide Flood Control Zone
District Board of Supervisors that any monies expended from the Whatcom County Current
Expense Fund in 1992/93 for Flood Control Zone District activities will be reimbursed by
Flood Control Zone District revenues collected in 1993.
