summary- The 1992 Annual Construction Program has a Project No. 1, the reconstruction
of Birch Bay - Lynden Road from North Enterprise Road to Rathbone Road. This
project is to be paid for with local and State Rural Arterial Program (RAP)
funds. This is part of our program to upgrade Birch Bay - Lynden Road to
an all - weather standard.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award of bid to the low bidder, Associated Sand and Gravel, Co., Inc. in
the amount of $1,186,280.95, including taxes.

RESOLUTION NO. 92 -041
ESTABLISHING COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO. 99204
AND THE AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF
BIRCH BAY - LYNDEN ROAD
WHEREAS, this project is included in the officially adopted annual road
program as Item No. 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council:
That CRP 99204 is formally. established for the Reconstruction of Birch Bay -
Lynden Road and
The contract for this project is awarded to Associated Sand and Gravel
Company, Inc. in the amount of their bid of $1,186,280.95; and
An appropriation from the officially adopted road fund budget and based on
the County Engineer's estimate is hereby made in the amounts and for the pur-
poses shown:
