—11 April 14, 1992 the Whatcom County Council awarded a bid to replace the target carrier system at the Parks
Department's Plantation Rifle Range. The old system, an Accra -Trac, manufactured by Detroit Bullet Trap
Corporation In 1977, has reached the end of its useful life. Purchasing is requesting approval on behalf of Parks to
sell the old system at public sale to the highest bidder, in accordance with WCC 1.10, the county property ordinance.
ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION.
Hold a public hearing and, if appropriate, resolve to sell property.

RESOLUTION NO. 92 -038-
A RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE
SALE OF WHATCOM COUNTY SURPLUS PROPERTY
PURSUANT TO WCC 1.10
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on _ �/- l02� 1�9g to
discuss the sale of Whatcom County property; and
WHEREAS, It was determined to be in the best interest of Whatcom
County to sell an Acra -Trac rifle range target carrier system
manufactured by Detroit Bullet Trap Corporation is the property of
Whatcom County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
such property shall be sold at public sale by award to the highest
responsive and responsible bidder, following an advertised call for
sealed bids.
